What is SPF?

SPF is an acronym for “sun protective factor”. The SPF number is an indication of how long it takes for the UV rays from the sun to affect the skin. If you are outdoors, it is recommended to use SPF 30 or higher which is also water resistant. Sunscreen should be reapplied every 90 minutes.
